Description
The key responsibilities for the Bid Writer will include:
- Develop compelling bid proposals to secure new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements.
- Conduct research to understand market trends and competitor strategies.
- Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information for bids.
- Monitor bid management systems and ensure adherence to deadlines.
- Provide feedback to the team to improve bid success rate.
- Present bid proposals to senior management for approval.
- Maintain a database of all bid documents for future reference.
Profile
A successful Bid Writer should have:
- A strong educational background in Business, Marketing or a related field.
- 2-3 years + proven experience in bid writing or a similar role
- Experience within services, or an industrial environment is preferred.
- Exceptional written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
Job Offer
- A competitive salary ranging from £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
