Astute's Power team is partnering with a power generation provider with a commitment to professional development and sustainability to recruit an Business Development Lead to be involved in the decarbonisation projects throughout the UK in the Industrial sector.

The strategically important Business Development Lead role comes with a salary of up to 65,000.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Head of Development you will:
  • Responsible for the growth of the industrial energy pipeline.
  • The project leadership of cross-functional teams to enable the delivery of solutions/projects and targets.
  • Secure new business according to personal/sector targets.
  • Maximise strike rate by developing winning proposals and prioritising opportunities accordingly.
  • Utilising the systems, processes and Salesforce to ensure sales management information is up to date, accurate and enabling new business growth.



Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Prior Operational and Technical knowledge desirable
  • Sustainable and low carbon solutions knowledge
  • Prior BD experience desirable
