My client is an ambitious, fast-growing specialist fire protection business withsales of over 10m and plans to continue this growth for the foreseeable future.
Due to this growth, they're looking to employ a commercial director to overseethe business in its entirety. You will be responsible for overseeing the commercial department, and ensuring the long term stability of the business.
The business is 3rd party accredited, with existing relationships, framework contracts and a strong established team.
They are looking for the followingcritical elements in a candidate above all else:
- Commercially minded. Able to recogniseopportunities, protecting margins & profit throughout.
- People skills. You will be able to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, no matter their seniority.
- Leadership. Growing a small business & a new team takes perseverance, maturity & problem solving.
- Industry wisdom. Not just technical, but how the sector works now, & where it is going.
