My client is a leading main contractor that deliver large scale new build construction projects. Due to multiple project wins they require a Commercial Manager to join their senior management team.
The commercial manager position would require managing around 5 live construction sites. Projects values range from 30million to 70million, my client has a specialist division for delivering BTR and PBSA projects.
They are looking for experienced Commercial Manager candidates who are eager and wanting to progress and be part of team to make a difference. You will be hands on assisting and co ordinating other Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors. Being a mentor and leading by example.
The expertise of projects can be varied its more ensuring they have the ability to run and lead project costing in organised and structured process similar to larger leading main contractors.
Requirements
Additional Requirements to be considered for the role
BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification preferably with a post graduate qualification in construction law, commercial or project management.
Minimum of 10 years of post-graduate professional experience, at least 5 years within the construction industry
