Job Title: Internal Sales SpecialistReports to: Sales Manager Salary: £26,780 plus up to  £15,000 OTE can be achieved 
  • £5,000 is for achieving quarterly sales targets
  • £10,000 is on achieving large growth above and beyond targets.  
Hours: 8-5pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch25 days holiday plus Bank holidaysthe ideal candidate for this role will have some background in sales/account management or looked after a portfolio of clients.  You will need to be outgoing and confident in this role and the ability to be able to pick up the phone and build good solid relationships with existing clients. Someone of a bubbly nature who is self motivated with the energy and drive to want to make the role a success. Someone who is able to clearly communicate on all levels. Excel required at basic level as the company use excel to track their projects.  MAIN FUNCTION OF THE INTERNAL SALES SPECIALIST ROLE:Our client is a consultative sales team specialising in refrigeration equipment.  The main function of the team is to promote and sell refrigeration equipment and along with associated products. The strategy is to gain market share with existing products as well as developing sales for new products, services, and innovations into an existing market. The team will be set annual performance and sales targets. As Internal Sales Specialist your primary objectives are:
  1. To proactively develop and grow sales with your target customers.
  2. To build business relationships with these customers in order that they fully understand the products that you sell.
  3. To promote and develop increased sales of refrigeration equipment 
  4. To build a strong pipeline of quotes which are converted to orders on a regular basis.
  5. To take guidance and feedback from your line manager and any other members of the management team.
  6. To work as a key member of the Internal Sales Specialist team and to support all members of the team to achieve the company goals.
  7. To identify and pass on sales opportunities for other areas of the business 
  8. To attend regular sales meetings as organised by your line manager.
  9. To ensure that you learn and understand the key features, advantages and benefits of any product and service within your portfolio.
  10. To report on a regular basis to the UK Sales Manager on market trends, competitor activities and matters affecting company products and services.
  11. Participate in training and coaching sessions.
  12. Report any barriers to sale to the UK Sales Manager.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (Specific measurements will be put in place for the following KPIs at the end of each year for the year ahead)
  • Increase the average order value.
  • Increase number of quotes generated.
  • Increase number of customers trading regularly.
  • Increase quote conversion rate.
  • Every month report ancillary sales and KPIs to UK Sales Manager during your 1:1 meeting.
  • Regularly call customers to understand their needs, develop sales, and obtain customer feedback.
