Benefits: Tesla Car & comprehensive benefits packages The role of the Specification Sales Manager - Automatic Door Systems will involve:

  • Files sales role selling a well-known manufactured range of revolving doors, speed gates and door automation systems
  • 100% architectural specification role, passing tenders to ASM team to close out with main contractors, façade contractors, security contractors end users and other specialist sub-contractors
  • Working as one of three dedicated specification field sales professionals nationally
  • Taking over a northern area (Birmingham North) which has consistently over achieved on the £3m revenue target
  • Working initially with the outgoing specification manager, who will be on hand to support
  • Inheriting a very healthy project back the role will be 50% new business 50% project conversation (very well known in industry, lots of architectural practices approach them)
  • Lots of time working from home/ teams meetings (client face to face meeting whenever possible)

The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager - Automatic Door Systems with:

  • Must have architectural technical specification field sales experience in the construction industry
  • Open to most technical sales backgrounds such as associated products to the building envelope/ fabric of the building (even employed concrete backgrounds)
  • Product knowledge can be taught, however any understanding of revolving doors, speed gates, security access, robust turnstiles, wide lane access, entrance systems, access control, gate automation or security may be of interest
  • Stable career history
  • Hungry, go-getter with a dynamic personality
