Field Sales Executive North Territory

£40,000 - £48,000 basic plus uncapped bonus, fully expensed company car.


Due to high customer demand and a business with ambitious growth plans, we are looking to recruit an experienced Sales professional to join a well-established technical business.

You would be joining an ambitious business, who are investing in their people at all levels providing support, resources, development opportunities and increased benefits and earning potential.

You will be working with a customer base including, but not limited to, the aerospace, automotive and defence manufacturing sectors. You'll need a technical or engineering sales background and be somebody who thrives on building long lasting relationships, identifying new opportunities and is focused and driven. There is a strong focus on team and collaboration within the business, you will be provided with all the tools and support you need to excel in your sales role from technical expertise, marketing, and an extensive database of warm leads to work from. You will also be working with several existing accounts to allow you to work alongside other members of the team to really get to know the business and the benefits it provides to its customers.

As an overview you could expect to carry out the following in your role:

  • Introducing a large portfolio of products and services to prospective customers using a solid technical case.
  • Work directly with the Sales Manager to analyse and approach your area (North England) in the most effective way.
  • Establish, develop and maintain a positive relationship with potential customers within a wide range of Industries.
  • Assist to develop then achieve set sales targets and growth strategies within your own area
  • Work with existing customers to understand their changing requirements and then to develop solutions that help maintain their own effectiveness.


In your role youll have a basic salary in the region of £45,000 dependent on experience, with uncapped bonus with a conservative estimate of an additional £10,000 - £15,000 annually in bonus, but this can be much higher. You will receive a company car, all mileage paid including private miles, and a very generous holiday entitlement over 30 days.


If you have a demonstrable track record in sales, you are highly motivated and target driven, an aptitude and willingness to take on technical information, have a collaborative and team working approach and enjoy strategic and tactical selling over cold calling, then we would love to discuss the role in more detail with you.


Ideally applicants will be located close to good access to the M62 corridor. Ideal locations for customer base are: Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Manchester, Huddersfield, York, Selby
