An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established Public Sector organisation head quartered in central Leeds. We are seeking a Communications and Engagement Manager to lead strategic communications for a large transformation program. This is an 18-month fixed-term role initially.Reporting to the Program Director and Director of Communications, you will lead the communications strategy for a high-profile project. You will develop and implement strategic communication plans, manage and coach a communications team of 3, work to create engaging content across multiple channels and lead on the collaboration with key stakeholders at a variety of levels. Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in strategic communications and engagement.
- Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills.
- Excellent writing, editing, and content creation abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and content management systems.
- Understanding of web accessibility and data protection laws.
Desirable Attributes:
- Knowledge of change management principles.
- Experience with project management methodologies.
