Role:

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines and ensuring precision manufacturing of components for the aerospace and turbine industries. You will play a key role in maintaining high-quality standards and meeting production targets.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machines to manufacture components in line with method specifications.
  • Develop machine-setting skills to complete set-ups as required.
  • Interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate machining and fixture alignment.
  • Inspect parts to ensure compliance with quality standards, using both manual and CMM measuring equipment.
  • Support inspection requirements by operating CMM machines.
  • Consistently achieve production, quality, and housekeeping targets.
  • Adhere to all company policies, including Health & Safety and compliance procedures.
Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Previous experience in CNC machining or machine operation (desirable but not essential, as training will be provided).
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (advantageous but not required).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (preferred but not essential).
  • Previous experience in CMM operation (preferred but not essential).
  • Competence in self-inspection using manual measuring equipment (preferred but not essential).
