This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company known for its high-quality engineering in the rail sector.Location: LeedsSalary: £32,240 - £38,480 Shift Pattern: Night Shifts Monday - Thursday 20:00-06:00 (flexible hours)

The Role

As a CNC Milling Machinist, you will be responsible for:

  • Setting up, adjusting, and operating advanced CNC Milling Machinist tools.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings to determine the best machining techniques.
  • Measuring, examining, and gauging completed components using precision instruments (e.g., micrometers and verniers).
  • Assisting in the design of fixtures and accessories to support production.
  • Contributing to new and existing projects within the business.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring components meet strict quality standards.
Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator.
  • Knowledge of Heidenhain and Fanuc controls
  • Relevant qualifications, such as:
    • City & Guilds Engineering Levels 1, 2, and 3.
    • Advanced City & Guilds CNC/NC Tool Setting or Programming.
