Elevation Recruitment Group is working on behalf of a Leeds-based manufacturer that offers on-the-job training and the opportunity to develop a mechanical understanding of machine operation across various production machine tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret technical drawings
  • Train to set and operate machine tools
  • Measure, inspect, and test components for accuracy and quality
  • Use inspection equipment such as micrometers and calipers
  • Monitor feed and speed of machines during the machining process
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace
  • Work to strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently

  • Experience in manufacturing (preferred)
  • Familiarity with inspection equipment (advantageous)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
