We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join our team on an exciting commercial project in Leeds. As an integral part of the project, you will oversee and manage the day-to-day electrical operations on-site, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency are maintained throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise electrical installations and ensure the project is completed to specifications, on time, and within budget.
- Coordinate and manage electrical contractors and subcontractors, providing guidance and direction.
- Ensure compliance with all electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Perform quality control checks and inspections to guarantee work meets the required standards.
- Liaise with the project manager and site team to provide updates on project progress.
- Monitor site activities, keeping track of materials and resources required for electrical installations.
- Ensure all site workers adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of risk assessments and method statements for electrical work.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the project.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid ECS/CSCS card
- 18th Edition
- SMSTS
- First Aid
- Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within the construction industry.
- Solid knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and standards.
- Experience in supervising electrical installations for commercial projects.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Full driving license is desirable.
