Job Opportunity: Electrical Supervisor

Awell-established M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) contractor based in Leeds isseeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join theirteam. They are currently delivering a high-end residential development consisting of a number of luxury apartments, offering you the opportunity to work on a prestigious and exciting project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage specialist subcontractors and direct trades on-site to ensure the successful installation of electrical systems within a high-end residential development
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards
- Perform regular Quality Assurance (QA) inspections to ensure work complies with strict specifications and industry standards
- Lead and conduct Toolbox Talks, ensuring that all personnel are kept informed about best practices, safety protocols, and project-specific requirements
- Review and enforce Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and ensure all work is completed in line with company policies
- Liaise closely with clients, subcontractors, and the site management team to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction
- Provide guidance and technical support to junior staff and apprentices, helping them develop their skills and knowledge
- Maintain detailed site records and documentation for all work carried out, ensuring full traceability and accountability
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of electrical installations
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor, preferably within high-end residential or similar luxury developments
- Strong understanding of electrical installations, systems, and safety standards, with a focus on high-quality finishes and attention to detail
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, including RAMS, Toolbox Talks, and other safety protocols
- 18th Edition wiring regulations and relevant electrical qualifications
- Experience managing both direct trades and specialist subcontractors
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to resolve issues efficiently on-site
- Full UK driving license (desirable)
On offer is a day rate up to 350 per day (outside of IR35) dependeing on experience
