Assistant Project Manager

Role Overview:

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work closely with Project Managers to support the successful execution of projects. You will help develop client relationships, ensure projects are delivered to a high standard, comply with health and safety regulations, and seek continuous improvements to enhance performance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Learn and efficiently use the call-off system.
  • Assist in transforming client briefs into actionable project plans.
  • Manage the loading of new projects into the call-off system and oversee equipment requests.
  • Gather and coordinate installer survey information and input it into the system.
  • Facilitate project progress within the call-off system.
  • Develop and maintain a quote tracker, request quotes, and follow up as needed.
  • Support the creation of cost plans and order documentation.
  • Conduct contract administration duties.
  • Assist in project scheduling and phasing.
  • Ensure all cost plans, quotes, and documents are accurate and updated regularly.
  • Review new project drawings daily and communicate changes to the team.
  • Assist in the submission of final accounts and receipting.
Knowledge/Experience Required:
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize the call-off system.
  • Experience in fit-out, construction, installations, or shelving systems.
  • Retail sector experience is a plus but not essential.
  • Strong accountability and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
  • GCSE or equivalent in construction or retail-related studies.
