On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple joinery projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing contracts, coordinating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will come from a carpentry/joinery background and have proven experience running multiple projects concurrently.

Contracts Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of joinery projects from inception to handover.
  • Manage all aspects of contract negotiations, procurement, and supplier relationships.
  • Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Ensure all projects are completed in line with agreed specifications, budget, and timelines.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Implement and maintain robust health and safety standards across all sites.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project delivery process.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or in a similar role within the joinery/carpentry or fitout sectors.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying solutions.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and commitment to maintaining high standards.
