My client are a well established construction company that specialise in high-rise residential schemes. Due to an increase in workload they are looking for an External Package Manager to join them in Leeds!

Ideal candidate:
- Experience in managing externals on a project
- Main Contractor background
- Strong and effective sub-contractor management skills
- The ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
- Have worked on high-rise style projects
Role/Responsibilities:
- Reviewing project / external / façade specifications – to ensure subcontractor proposals are in line with Design Team and Client specification.
- Ensuring coordination of external elements across various subcontract packages and oversight of the detailed interface to ensure building air and weather tightness is achieved.
- Carrying out technical appraisal of Subcontractors proposals to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring construction and site safety
