Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for mechanical projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems. This role requires a deep understanding of project requirements, cost analysis, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Analysis: Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents to determine mechanical requirements.
  • Cost Estimation: Calculate material, equipment, and labor costs for mechanical installations.
  • Supplier Coordination: Obtain and assess quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and compliance.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential financial and operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Proposal Development: Create detailed, competitive bids and proposals aligned with client needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to align estimates with project goals and budgets.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay updated on market trends, materials, and costs for accurate estimates.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of mechanical estimating experience within construction or M&E sectors.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in estimating software and a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
