We are seeking a proficient Project Manager to join a leading energy supplier. As the Project Manager, you will lead the Market-Wide Half-Hourly Settlement (MHHS) programme, ensuring seamless integration within the target operating model (TOM). The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of MHHS implementation, DCC operations, and SECAS CIO audits, guaranteeing the programme's control and success. To be successful in this role you will need proven experience in managing complex projects in the energy or utilities sector, an In-depth understanding of market-wide half-hourly settlement processes and regulatory frameworks, Familiarity with DCC systems, and Experience in conducting and facilitating Smart CIO audits. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the MHHS project, collaborating with stakeholders, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Facilitate workshops and engagement sessions to communicate MHHS requirements and maintain project documentation.
  • Lead the project from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality of all project artifacts.
  • Report progress to external industry bodies.
  • Manage all aspects of DCC operations, overseeing communication infrastructure and ensuring efficient data flow for billing and energy supply management.
  • Coordinate compliance with GBCS and engage in strategic planning related to DCC operations.
  • Provide expert advice on DCC updates and facilitate stakeholder meetings.
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory changes and ensure adherence to Smart Energy Code (SEC) requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and update treatment plans in compliance with CIO scope.
  • Perform audits in line with the Security Controls Framework (SCF) and ISO standards.
  • Prepare for and facilitate CIO audits, managing post-audit follow-ups.
  • Oversee SECAS CIO audits and implement necessary actions to maintain operational integrity.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects in the energy or utilities sector.
  • Ability to define project scope, plan comprehensively, and manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Understanding of market-wide half-hourly settlement processes and regulatory frameworks.
  • Familiarity with DCC systems and adapter integration.
  • Experience in conducting and facilitating Smart CIO audits.
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of issue resolution.
  • Familiarity with ISO27001/27005 standards and Security Controls Framework (desirable).
  • Experience in environmental safety and operational management support (desirable).
  • Project Management qualification - Prince2 or APM (desirable)
