Senior Contracts Manager

My client is an award-winning full service facilities management company with nationwide coverage. Due to continued growth they are looking for a new Senior Contracts / Project Manager to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing four other project managers and will manage multiple mixed disciplined projects from M&E, Building Fabric, Grounds and Civils to ACM Removals. You will also be responsible for generating new business.

The Duties

You will be reporting to the Estimating Manager and responsible for your own workload.

  • You'll be managing 4 Project Managers
  • Manage multiple mixed disciplined projects from M&E, Building Fabric, Grounds and Civils to ACM Removals.
  • Manage and exceed customer / stakeholder relations.
  • Be responsible for implementation of all SHEQ and CDM plans, procedures and checks on site throughout the lifespan of the project
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures and ensure that they are followed by all personnel on site
  • To take ownership of all site aspects of the project under their control and manage the from start to handover and completion.
  • Provide project direction, focus and programme management
  • Ensure staff receive adequate training to carry out their role on the project.

The Requirements

  • Previous experience of Project management, responsible for all aspects of site management and works
  • You must have team management experience
  • An Excellent communicator.
  • Evidence / references of experience.
  • Up to date relevant knowledge of building legislation.
  • Up to date relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
  • Relevant H&S courses, First Aid, SMSTS, NEBOSH.
  • Full UK driving licence and car is essential.

The Package

  • Salary: £55K - £60K dependent on experience.
  • Car allowance: £5,549
  • Up to 10% discretionary bonus scheme, subject to achievement of targets.
