We have an exciting position for a part time Health and Safety Manager to join a respected and modern law firm based in Leeds City Centre. The hours would be 3 days a week (21 hours) with the core hours 9-5pm Wednesday to Friday with a salary of 37k pro rata.

The main responsibilities for this role would include:

  • Reviewing and implemented health and safety policies and communicating these to all personnel within the firm
  • Educated and training by organising and facilitating safety training programmed for internal staff
  • Produce material for safety training modules
  • Provide training and development plans by supporting the health and safety officer
  • Ensuring compliance is adhered too and updated across the firm
  • Conduct office staff assessments
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure all health and safety requirements are met
  • Main training records of safety activities to ensure compliance
  • Assisting with reports and client tenders
  • Conduct internal and external audits
  • Liaise with external stakeholders

It is essential to have experience managing health and safety in a professional services environment and have an understanding of law and regulations. It would be ideal to have ISO qualifications.
