Job Title: Contracts Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Contracts Manager to join our established construction team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key leadership role within a well-respected contractor, managing multiple projects across the North West and Midlands. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management and contract administration, ensuring successful project delivery within time and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the management and delivery of multiple construction projects from inception to completion.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Lead and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors, site managers, and quantity surveyors.
Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise, implementing effective solutions.
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure clear communication throughout project lifecycles.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and contractual obligations.
Manage project risk, financial performance, and resource allocation effectively.
Report on project performance to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a Contracts Manager or similar role within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract management, and project delivery.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with relevant construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC).
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
