Job Title: Contracts Manager


About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Contracts Manager to join our established construction team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key leadership role within a well-respected contractor, managing multiple projects across the North West and Midlands. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management and contract administration, ensuring successful project delivery within time and budget constraints.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management and delivery of multiple construction projects from inception to completion.

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Lead and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors, site managers, and quantity surveyors.

  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise, implementing effective solutions.

  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure clear communication throughout project lifecycles.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and contractual obligations.

  • Manage project risk, financial performance, and resource allocation effectively.

  • Report on project performance to senior management and stakeholders.



Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Contracts Manager or similar role within the construction industry.

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract management, and project delivery.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with relevant construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC).

  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.

  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
