Qualifications Required

Degree, Diploma, HNC in an Engineering discipline (Desirable)

Technical qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Essential)

Membership of relevant professional technical body with chartership (Desirable or willingness to work towards)

Must come from a technical background

A well-established maintenance provider who are renowned for their prestigious contracts are currently recruiting for a Technical Contracts Manager working on a commercial contract based in Leeds. This reputable company are big believers in promoting staff internally and are currently looking to add an experienced Contract Manager to their team.


About the role:

We are looking to take on board a strong Technical Contracts Manager to look after prime retail and hospitality space in Leeds. We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Contract Manager to oversee the engineering team including technical supervisor and 10engineers with P&L responsibility.


Responsibilities:

You will manage a team of 10 including a Technical Supervisor and M&E Engineers

P&L accountability of up to £950k

Manage all technical issues.

Manage agreed KPI and SLA's.

Responsible for managing the company's H&S and environmental performance on site.

Plan and implement building shutdowns and complex client project works.

Responsible for managing the company's quality procedures on site.

Recruitment of any new staff required on sites.

Responsible for the technical development of all staff, which will include annual appraisals.

Management of client relationships on a daily basis.

Management of all reports.

Manage any additional business opportunities that will deliver client satisfaction and increase contract sales revenue.

Responsible for the permit system.

Applicants for this role must be able to demonstrate the following:

Strong technical engineering understanding.
