A new opportunity has become available with one of Yorkshire's leading property specialists. This role offers hybrid working with 2 days a week office attendance in central Leeds.Â
This well-established firm is looking for an experienced Conveyancer to join the team to manage a complex caseload of freehold, leasehold and new build transactions.
This does not set out every responsibility but provides an overview of the main areas of responsibility.
- Manage a complex caseload consisting of freehold, leasehold and new build
- Title checking and dealing with enquiries/property reports on a purchase
- Dealing with enquiries on a sale
- Taking ownership of more complex matters such as new build transactions, shared ownership and deeds of variation
- Mentoring/supporting of more junior members of the team where required
- Work with the senior management team, as the voice of the conveyancing team, to influence the direction of the department
- Liaising with clients to agree exchange and completion dates
- Carry out AML & SOF checks
To be considered for this role you will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience running a sales and purchase caseload.Â
Experience of dealing with leasehold, newbuild and complex transactions is essential.Â
This role would particularly suit an individual who is used to dealing with volume processing of cases and is either a qualified Solicitor, CLC or CILEX with a minimum of 5+ PQE.Â
