My client is looking for experienced, ambitious conveyancers to be part of our conveyancing team at their fast-growing Leeds office.An expanding, specialist property law department within an established regional law firm, my client delivers a high quality legal service to a client base that includes small to medium sized business, the high street and high net worth individuals. The Role:Following a 4-week training programme, designed to ensure you get off to the best possible start with us, you’ll join one of the conveyancing teams. You’ll manage a mixed caseload of freehold, leasehold, newbuild and shared ownership transactions, tailored to your level of expertise.The bonus scheme gives you the opportunity to earn £12K – £15K per annum, on top of your base salary. - Process the sale/purchase from instruction through to completion liaising with all parties to include mortgage brokers, estate agents, solicitors and clients throughout the transaction.
- Proactively communicate and build strong relationships with clients and third parties keeping them regularly updated of progress.
- Provide an exceptional service both to the client, introducers and third parties.
- Recognise potential risks and resolve issues without putting the client or business at risk.
- Ensure that all allocated files are maintained in good order in compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and in accordance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Prepare and issue contract papers on any related sale.
- Thoroughly deal with any sale enquiries
- Analyse search results
- Display exceptional organisation to target matters for exchange and completion at the start of each month in line with KPIs
- Liaise with mortgage lenders regarding drawing down client funds.
- Dealing with exchange of contracts and legal completion.
