You’ll provide leadership and direction to the renewal team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability and continuous improvement. You’ll manage and monitor both team and individual performance taking action where necessary to improve, and you’ll set SMART goals, managing resource, prioritising workflow and reviewing key deliverables. Coaching and developing the team to a high level of performance, you’ll provide excellent service to brokers, prioritising renewals and mid-term adjustments to ensure deadlines are met. You will be involved with underwriting some risks, as well as attending underwriting and broker meetings to provide insight into developments, trends and feedback on market conditions. Being a growing business that very much listens to, and implements employees’ great ideas and suggestions, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in some really interesting ad hoc projects and make a real difference.

It's essential that you have strong coaching skills to develop the capabilities of all team members.We are looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about the professional development of others, as well as themselves! You have strong people-management and project skills, together with the ability to structure task allocations around critical goals. It’s not essential that you have experience within Care Insurance as comprehensive training will be provided. However, you must have a commercial insurance background (including Property and/ or Liability Insurance) either from an insurance company or broking environment.

Our client operates a hybrid-working arrangement, allowing you to work 2 days from home. The team are well-renowned in the industry for their friendly, supportive and collaborative environment, and there are lots of sports and social events available, including an incredible annual summer ball!

You’ll be rewarded with a generous basic salary to £60K (Negotiable, depending on experience), plus a highly lucrative 25% bonus scheme and impressive corporate benefits, which include substantial pension contributions and financial bonuses for passing CII qualifications.
