Quality Adult Skills Lead

Location: Hybrid (3 x days in the office in Leeds and 2 x working from home)

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of staff, modelling best practices and ensuring the quality of education in adult skills provision is consistently at least "good," with a focus on driving continuous improvement towards an "outstanding" Ofsted grade.

Design and implement an annual cycle of quality audits, providing detailed reports and evaluating the impact of improvements made to learner progress and key quality metrics that influence the overall learner experience.

Oversee and evaluate the learner journey within adult skills provision, ensuring that data metrics reflect the quality of the learning experience and that the curriculum meets the diverse needs of adult learners, industry standards, and best practices in adult education.

Supervise and ensure the quality assurance of Adult Skills programmes (ASF/Bootcamps), ensuring all programmes meet the same high standards through regular audits and offering support for continuous quality improvements.

Lead and contribute to the professional development of staff, taking proactive measures to enhance practice and evaluating the effectiveness of actions to meet professional standards and compliance with codes of practice.

Ensure that training programs align with industry trends, employer needs, and educational standards.

Continuously review and enhance curriculum content to meet the evolving needs of learners and industries.

Stay informed about changes in educational regulations and funding guidelines.

Work closely with regulatory bodies and accrediting agencies to maintain compliance and accreditation status.

Prepare and submit documentation for audits and inspections

Experience required:

•   Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and accreditation processes.

•   Excellent organisational and communication skills.

•   Ability to travel to the Leeds office

•   Ability to lead and inspire a team towards achieving educational excellence.

•   Proven track record of embedding quality processes to ensure compliance.

•   Holds Assessor and IQA qualifications.

•   Experience of delivery training and support
