We are working with an exciting company who are looking to employ a Technical Trainer who will help design, develop, and deliver high-quality short technical training courses in the low carbon (renewable) and/ or construction sector for their clients. The role is on a permanent basis and is crucial in ensuring that the course delivery and content is the best available and exceeds customer expectations.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver and develop technical training courses and materials tailored to the needs of the audience, including presentations, e-learning modules, and interactive content
- Utilise a variety of instructional techniques and technologies to accommodate different learning styles and ensure knowledge retention
- Adjust training approaches based on evaluation to continuously improve training effectiveness
- Work closely with subject matter experts, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and relevancy of training content
- Prepare and present summaries on training outcomes, effectiveness, and areas for improvement to management
- Stay current with industry trends, technological developments, and best practices in training and development
What do we need from you?
- Time served trade (mechanical, electrical, or construction related) ideally with a background on low carbon technologies
- Proven experience as a technical trainer in Building services or in a similar role
- Proficiency in the use of training tools and technologies
- Excellent verbal and great written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple training projects and prioritise efficiently, with strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of low carbon/renewable technologies, system, and products (desirable)
- Experience with development and/or adaptation of training materials (desirable)
