This role will play a key part in shaping the leadership development strategy for the business, ensuring leaders at all levels are equipped with the right skills and behaviours to succeed. You will lead the design and delivery of leadership development programmes, working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to align these initiatives with the company’s long-term goals and cultural values.This is an exciting opportunity for a senior professional with deep expertise in leadership development to make a significant impact across a large, complex organisation.Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership Development Strategy: Own the creation and delivery of a leadership and behavioural development framework to support leaders at all stages of their career.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a multi-skilled team, providing coaching, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality delivery of development initiatives.
  • Tailored Learning Interventions: Design and implement leadership learning interventions that meet the needs of various leadership levels, from frontline managers to senior executives.
  • Collaboration and Integration: Work with other teams focused on talent management, culture development, and diversity and inclusion to ensure leadership programmes are aligned with broader organisational goals.
  • Development of Tools & Frameworks: Lead the development and integration of coaching, mentoring, and diagnostic tools (such as psychometrics, 360-degree feedback, and capability assessments).
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively review and refine the leadership development approach to keep it aligned with emerging practices and the evolving needs of the business.
The Ideal Candidate;We are looking for a leadership development specialist ideally with experience of leading a small team and can demonstrate the following:
  • Leadership Development Expertise: Extensive experience working in organisational development or learning and development, with a focus on leadership development, behavioural change, and full learning cycle design and delivery.
  • Blended Learning Experience: Expertise in developing and delivering blended learning solutions, including face-to-face, virtual learning, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Leadership and Management: Proven experience in leading a team, managing learning budgets, and working with external learning partners.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and adapt to changing business needs, delivering solutions at pace.
