What You'll Do:
As a Legal Administrator, you'll be responsible for providing essential administrative support to our legal team, helping them operate efficiently and effectively. Your key duties will include:

Administrative Support:

  • Provide general administrative support, including answering calls, managing emails, and handling correspondence.
  • Maintain and organize legal files, ensuring that all documents are up-to-date and accessible.
  • Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, letters, and reports.
  • Organize and schedule meetings, conferences, and appointments for legal professionals.

Document Management:

  • Assist with the preparation, filing, and indexing of legal documents.
  • Ensure compliance with legal documentation standards and confidentiality protocols.
  • Maintain case management systems, ensuring accurate record-keeping and document storage.

Client & Internal Liaison:

  • Liaise with clients, responding to inquiries and providing updates as directed by the legal team.
  • Coordinate with external parties such as courts, opposing counsel, and service providers.
  • Assist in organizing client meetings, conferences, and hearings as needed.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a legal or professional services environment.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with great attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and knowledge of legal document management systems is a plus.
  • An understanding of legal terminology and processes is desirable but not essential.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a focus on providing excellent service.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Discreet and professional with the ability to handle confidential information.
