One of the UK's largest and foremost law firms is currently looking for a newly qualified / 3 years PQE Solicitor with a Court of Protection background. You would be joining one of the UK's leading firms of solicitors with a dedicated and experienced team specialising in Court of Protection matters, the judicial body responsible for making decisions relating to the management of finances and affairs of individuals who lack the mental capacity to do so themselves.

Full-time permanent role, ideally Leeds based. The team are keen to accommodate what's best for you, so can be flexible on location however there will be a need to visit the Leeds office regularly.

The Role
You'll provide quality legal advice to the firm's clients by appropriate supervision and training and managing your very own caseload from the offset. You'll aim to provide clients with expert legal advice and help them with all financial management matters, from planning and investments, to tax returns and accounting. You'll play a key role as part of a team dedicated to improving the quality of life of their clients.
Your role will involve:
- Taking instructions from clients and giving legal advice
- Managing your own caseload, while also assisting the Partners and senior team members on High Value cases
- Reviewing cases and other relevant matters with supervisor to ensure quality legal advice is provided

The Candidate
- NQ-3 years PQE, with a Court of Protection background
- Highly organised, strong attention to detail with a thorough and meticulous work ethic
- Strong commercial awareness
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently as well as excel in a pressurised environment
- Excellent communication skills, confidence to engage with senior stakeholders in challenging conversations
