What You'll Do:
As a Paralegal, you'll be an integral part of our legal team, providing essential support across various practice areas. Your responsibilities will include:

Legal Research & Document Preparation:

  • Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations to assist in case preparation.
  • Draft legal documents, including correspondence, contracts, and pleadings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Prepare case files, ensuring all documents are organized, complete, and ready for court or meetings.

Case Management & Client Support:

  • Assist in the preparation and management of legal cases, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
  • Liaise with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases and gathering necessary information.
  • Prepare briefs for attorneys, helping them prepare for hearings, trials, or meetings.

Administrative Support:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, case files, and databases.
  • Handle filing, document management, and tracking legal deadlines to ensure timely submission.
  • Assist with the coordination of meetings, depositions, and hearings.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Paralegal or in a legal support role is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, processes, and documentation.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and legal research tools.
  • Knowledge of case management systems or legal software is a plus.
  • A paralegal certification or qualification (e.g., LPC, BPTC) is desirable but not required.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • A high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do attitude.
