Reed Accountancy is seeking a Credit Controller for a 6-month Fixed Term Contract in Leeds.
The role involves clearing aged debt of approximately £1.5 million and requires experience in Credit Control.
The position offers a salary of up to £30,000 FTE and is office-based with working hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Candidates should be able to work independently and have experience with reconciliations, with knowledge of Tramps/Bluebox being desirable.
Free parking is available at the Leeds City Centre location, which is also accessible by train.

Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a business in Leeds who are recruiting a Credit Controller. This is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. You will be involved in a project to clear aged debt.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Clear aged debt (roughly £1.5m)
Reconcile accounts
Chase debt by telephone and email
Conduct meetings with tenants
Liaise with tenant to discuss repayment plans
Explain reasons for outstanding arrears/payments
Make recommendations to write off bad debt
Work closely with Fund & Property Managers to help them understand circumstances with tenants & non-payments

You will need to demonstrate:

Experienced within Credit Control
Can hit the ground running with minimal guidance/training
Experience with reconciliations
Experience with Tramps/Bluebox (desirable)
