This Customer Service Consultant job in Morley, Leeds provides opportunity to join a local Financial Services firm

Our client is open to individuals from a variety of industries such as someone looking to move from retail / hospitality into an office based role, with consistent Monday to Friday hours

As a Customer Service Consultant, you will be working in a local building society branch, supporting customers by processing transactions such as handling cash, making deposits / withdrawals, processing forms and making appointments.

This is a customer facing role, so it is important you have excellent customer service skills and enjoy helping people. Plus, due to cash handling, you must have good attention to detail

Our client would provide full on-the-job training to enable you to succeed in your role.

The Company

Our client is a local business owner focused on providing financial planning advice to their clients. Part of their group company includes local building society branches and also a financial planning / mortgage advisory firm. They established the group nearly 10 years ago and the business has continued to grow at a steady pace and has good plans in place to continue this forward momentum.

Customer Service Consultant Requirements

  • You should have a stable career history
  • You should have had roles with responsibility and understand the importance of right first time
  • Plus, you should have proven experience of picking up the phone to resolve matters
  • You should be comfortable using the computer and general applications

Customer Service Consultant - Benefits

  • Starting pay of £12ph
  • Branch based role with parking available on site
  • 35 hours per week, 9am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
  • Plus 1 Saturday in 3, with potential for this to either be paid as overtime or the extra hours to be rolled up and used as additional time off (details to be discussed at interview)
  • Working within a family business group that is passionate about helping their clients
