Hays Technology are recruiting a Data Project Manager to join a large public sector organisation based in the Leeds area.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be handling the day-to-day management of the Data workstream outputs on a large-scale processes & systems programme which is part of a wider SAP S/4 HANA implementation, ensuring integration and alignment with other programme technical and business workstreams, whilst engaging with key stakeholders, maintaining strong links with SAP Support and Data Services. You will be preparing weekly reports and maintaining the project RAID log and taking ownership of all technical risks, issues, and dependencies.
You will be overseeing risk and issue management, ensuring mitigations are in place and resolved through negotiated agreement and providing escalation to the Technical Programme Manager if necessary. You will be planning and scheduling resources use estimates for Data Workstream activities, including resource needed from the wider organisation outside of the programme team, whilst adhering to company policy and processes around project management
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working on data migrations with a key focus on SAP
- Experience working on large-scale SAP S/4 HANA implementations from a data perspective.
- Experience running data projects
- Strong experience with Project Management
- Experience within higher education is strongly desired
