We are partnered with a reputable global consultancy that are looking for a DATA ARCHITECT to work on a very exciting LONG-TERM PROJECT in the financial services sector. Please note that this is an URGENT requirement so please apply promptly to avoid missing out.
Role: DATA ARCHITECT
Rate: Up to £600 per day (inside IR35)
Location: Leeds
Style: Hybrid
Duration: 6 months (initially view to extend)
Role description:
The customer is looking to modernize their payment platform and has partnered with various SaaS solution providers and wants to migrate data as per SaaS vendor specifications which would involve extensive data integration including complex extraction and transformation activities and are looking for strong Data Architects to facilitate this end-to-end journey.
Key Skills:
- Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data.
- Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.
- Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations.
- Expert understanding of ETL Pipeline design
- Install and organize information systems to guarantee company functionality.
- Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams.
- Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
- Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.
- Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.
- Educate staff members through training and individual support.
- Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner.
- 10+ years in Data Analysis and Modelling
- Conceptual, Logical and Physical Data Models
- ETL Pipeline design
- Stake Holder management
- Functional knowledge in Mortgages
- Functional knowledge in Payments Authentication, Transaction Monitoring, Financial crime reporting and faster completion of payments
