With a nationwide client base spanning multiple industries, this is an exciting opportunity to build a rewarding career in a fast-paced and professional environment. The Role: As a Collections Agent, you will play a key role in supporting the collections team by ensuring the timely and accurate collection of invoiced income for various clients. This is a medium-to-high volume environment where efficiency, accuracy, and strong negotiation skills are essential. In return for your dedication, you will have the opportunity to earn uncapped commission and develop valuable skills within a dynamic industry.  Key Responsibilities:
  • Address customer concerns with professionalism while ensuring a high standard of service.
  • Engage in empathetic negotiations with customers to establish payment arrangements.
  • Manage both inbound and outbound calls to follow up on overdue payments.
  • Communicate with clients about outstanding balances and provide timely updates.
  • Keep accurate records and ensure the information is consistently updated in internal systems.
  • Strive to meet and exceed collection targets, driving commission opportunities.
 Skills & Experience Required:
  • Previous experience of collections or credit control -  desirable 
  • Our client will consider applicants with strong customer service experience from a call centre setting. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Confident IT skills in Word and Excel.
  • Ability to remain professional and calm when handling difficult conversations.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain rapport with both clients and customers.
