Do you have experience in Debt recovery and looking for a new challenge with something a little different?

We are working with a fabulous Law Firm who specialise in Commercial and Corporate debt. Looking for anyone with a background in Debt Recovery to join their new forward thinking team.


Main Duties:

- Dealing with a diverse portfolio of clients and debts in all sectors. From Pre-legal right through to litigation and enforcement and insolvency proceedings.
- Build a rapport with clients on commercial debt portfolios and negotiate fair, affordable repayment solutions in line with our clients' expectations and targets.
- Have a positive can-do attitude who can engage our clients and help them achieve the right outcome to solve their debt balance
- Full ownership of your respective workload and designated clients is actively encouraged
- Responsible for bringing in fees to assist the department in hitting its more than achievable billing target
- Client management including reviews and strategy sessions
- Actively promote the firm's brand with existing clients and externally attending events when required
- Assist on system and procedural changes when required


Skills Required:

- Previous debt recovery experience or legal experience with full knowledge of the debt recovery process. In addition, this can include drafting LBAs, issuing County Court proceedings, enforcement and insolvency proceedings.
- Dealing with contested debt is desirable but not essential.
- Confident and positive in their manner.
- Comfortable on the phone both calling in-bound and outbound.
- Strong drafting skills for both letters for pleadings.
- You must possess excellent communication skills and be computer literate.
- Flexibility to be able to adapt to different client and debtors' requests.
- Demonstrate empathy and have an understanding of the client's needs.
- Have a passion for client service and be a team player.
- Have strong problem-solving skills as well as influencing and negotiation skills.
- Work to achievable targets and understand KPI's in a competitive environment.
