We are seeking an experienced and skilled bench hand joiner to join our client. As a bench hand joiner, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality woodwork products, working on various projects from start to finish. If you are a skilled craftsman with experience using a range of hand-held powered tools and a passion for working in fast-paced environments, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and execute designs and drawings from our clients, ensuring high-quality output and meeting production targets
• Use a variety of hand-held powered tools, including but not limited to: routers, drill presses, jigsaws, and sanders
• Cut, shape, and assemble wood components according to project specifications
• Ensure accurate and efficient production, adhering to quality control and health and safety protocols
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet project deadlines and achieve production milestones
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our company's quality standards and production processes

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a bench hand joinery role, preferably in a fast-paced woodworking environment
• Strong understanding of wood joinery techniques and methods
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications
• Proficiency in using a range of hand-held powered tools, including those listed above
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on collaboration and adaptability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high production targets
• Experience working with CNC machinery (an advantage but not essential)
• Basic understanding of health and safety principles and practices in a woodworking environment
• Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 25 kg) and work at heights
• Availability to work flexible hours, including overtime, as required
