Our client, an innovative manufacturing company based in Bradford, seek to appoint an experienced Computer Aided Design Engineer to produce general arrangement (GA) and detailed manufacturing drawings of their technical & innovative sheet metal products.

CAD Engineer / Design Engineer / Manufacturing / Autodesk Inventor / AutoCAD / Autodesk Vault

As Computer Aided Design Engineer, you will be responsible for/have:

  • Designing, developing & engineering high-quality 3D models of bespoke technical products using 3D Autodesk Inventor and 2D AutoCAD.
  • Producing GA drawings for customer approval and developing them into detailed manufacturing drawings.
  • Producing “As Built” drawings.
  • A continuous improvement focus – offer design changes to increase production efficiencies and optimise material usage.
  • Problem solving - adopting a methodical approach
  • Supporting internal stakeholders and customer throughout the project.

The Computer Aided Design Engineer will be/have:

  • Experience producing 3D drawings using Autodesk Inventor and 2D drawings using AutoCAD software.
  • Experience using Autodesk Vault software.
  • Problem solving skills – a methodical approach to work and an eye for detail.
  • Experience working for a manufacturing company.
  • Flexible, adaptable and calm working under pressure.
