A great opportunity has arisen for a CAD Engineer to join a worldclass bespoke manufacturing company who provide solutions to a variety of industries including Retail, Industrial and Construction.
Job Description:
- Producing detailed manufacturing fabrication drawings for project designs working from site surveys within the required timescales.
- Liaising with the sales team, architects, customers and suppliers throughout the design and installation process.
- Producing material, component & bolt lists for procurement.
- Aiding the manufacturing and site installation team to fully understand the fabrication drawings and answer queries as they arise.
- Attending site to undertake site surveys when required.
Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:
- 2D & 3D AutoCAD
- Experience with metalwork and various components
- Autodesk Inventor (would be advantageous but not essential)
- REVIT Family Generation and Modification (would be advantageous but not essential)
- Experienced in mechanical and engineering practices
- Driving licence
Additional Details:
- Hours of work – 39 per week: Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5pm & Friday 8:30am - 4pm.
- Salary up to £35,000 DOE
- 7% company pension contribution (employee non-contributory pension scheme)
- Annual Company-wide tax-free Employee Ownership Bonus scheme (non-guaranteed, however this has been £3,600 per year for the last 3 years, and a record £6,500 for 2023/24)
