CAD – Inventor / Vault

I am currently on the lookout for a mechanical design engineer on a 3-month contract for a key client based in West Yorkshire. My client are leaders in the design, manufacture and install of processing equipment across different industries. They are actively seeking the following:

Duties:

• All aspects of design on Autodesk Inventor 3D & Vault
• Read 2D drawings and convert to 3D models
• Ensuring design project specifications are met
• Supporting R&D tweaking designs and working on parts for machines

The successful person will need to have the following attributes:

• Knowledge of fabrications, complex assemblies, and complex general arrangements etc
• Experience of designing process equipment
• Strong mechanical engineering background
• Competent Autodesk Inventor user
• Motivated with a keen eye for detail
