We are seeking an Assistant Headteacher with the drive, vision and commitment to excellence. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and implement the school's vision for SEN provision.
- SEN Assessment: Oversee the identification, assessment, and tracking of students with SEN, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Teaching and Learning: Provide guidance and support to teaching staff in implementing effective teaching strategies for students with SEN.
- Parent and Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents, guardians, and the wider community, ensuring they are well-informed and involved in their child's education.
- Staff Development: Lead and support the professional development of staff members involved in SEN provision.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) and a strong background in education.
- Proven experience in leading and managing SEN provision within a school setting.
- A deep understanding of SEN legislation, best practices, and strategies.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and foster a positive and inclusive school culture.
