Early Years Teaching Assistant

NextGen Teachers is an education recruitment agency working with schools across West Yorkshire to find the highest quality of staff. We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant for one of our primary schools based in Leeds to support their amazing students. If you have a love for working with children and helping them reach their full potential, this is the role for you.

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will be working alongside teachers to support students in the classroom, both individually and in small groups. Your role will involve supporting the delivery of the curriculum, helping students with their learning, and ensuring their well-being and safety. You will be a key part of the team, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 childcare qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with children.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • An enhanced Child DBS on the update service
  • Two professional references
  • The right to work in the UK
