Are you a passionate and experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive school?

We are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join the Early Years team at Blenheim Primary in Leeds. This role requires previous UK experience working within EYFS and a strong understanding of early childhood development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
  • Work with small groups and one-to-one to support children's development in early literacy, numeracy, and social skills
  • Encourage independent learning and confidence-building through play-based learning
  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress, providing feedback to teachers
  • Help manage behaviour and ensure a positive and structured classroom environment
Requirements:
  • Previous UK experience working in an EYFS setting (essential)
  • Understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
  • A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
