Our Special Needs Teaching Assistants’ duties can include:

  • Working with small groups of pupils
  • Working on a one-to-one basis with children with additional needs
  • Providing personal and emotional care for pupils when needed
  • Managing classroom behaviour
  • Providing intervention/SATS support for students

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Some experience working with young children or in a UK school setting within the last 2 years
  • A real passion for education and improving the attainment of pupils
  • Bags of creativity for stimulating and engaging pupils'
  • Level 3 support staff qualification is desired but is not essential providing you have professional Special Needs experience

The school you will be working in:

  • A school with a Good OFSTED rating
  • Supportive leadership and a low student-to-teacher ratio.
