Social, Emotional, Mental Health Support Assistant - Leeds

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Veritas Education is looking for a dedicated Educational Assistants to join one of our esteemed alternative provisions in the heart of Leeds. About the Role:

  • Position: Social, Emotional, Mental Health Support Assistant

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Previous experience supporting children or young people with additional needs (whether personal or professional). Experience in SEMH settings is highly desirable.
  • Transferable Skills: We are particularly keen to hear from individuals with backgrounds in Care, Sports, Psychology, or similar fields, as these skills can be incredibly beneficial in this role.
  • Qualities: We're looking for someone who is patient, empathetic, and can provide the emotional and social support needed to help students manage their feelings and behaviours.
