Exciting Opportunity for an SEN 121 Teaching Assistant in South Leeds!
Are you passionate about making a difference in a child's educational journey? Veritas Education is seeking a dedicated SEN 121 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Leeds (LS10) and provide support for two Year 5 students with learning difficulties and some challenging behavious. This full-time position offers a chance to be a key part of a supportive learning environment and encourage progress in all aspects of education.
Position Details:
- Role: SEN 121 Teaching Assistant
- Location: Primary School, Leeds (LS10)
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 15:30pm
- Pay: £85 - £95 per day
Key Responsibilities:
- Support two year 5 students with learning difficulties on a 1:1 basis
- Assist in the development and implementation of individual learning plans
- Encourage and motivate the student to achieve their educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to monitor progress and adapt strategies as needed
We Are Looking For:
- Individuals with compassion, enthusiasm, and patience
- Those with personal or professional experience in SEN
- Recent graduates with a keen interest in pursuing a career in SEN
- An Enhanced DBS check is required
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Professional references from your most recent employer (academic references are also acceptable)
