Our client, a specialist Alternative Education Provision in Leeds have a requirement for a Food Specialist Instructor/ Teacherto join their team. They are looking for an individual who can make a significant contribution to their school. They're looking for an innovative thinker who can support 10-17 year olds with a variety of Special Education Needs and Disabilities including SEMH, ASD, EBD and other complex needs.

The ideal candidate will need to :

  • Relevant experience delivering Food Technology
  • Be passionateand motivated to work across systemic barriers for the most vulnerable young people
  • Have experience working with vulerable young people
  • To provide a safe secure educational setting based on nurture principles
  • Delivering GCSE and other accredited courses (desirable)
  • Address gaps within learning associated with all areas of the national curriculum
  • To assist colleagues to move towards addressing their own pupil needs.
  • To provide relevant documentary evidence for all pupils
  • To work within the wider service team to facilitate the provision of education to pupils
