E3 Recruitment are actively recruiting 2 EC&I Engineer vacancies on behalf of a globally operating organisation based in Leeds.

Key Responsibilities of the EC&I Engineer:

  • Generating Control and Instrument project related documents, including P&ID Drawings, Instrument Wiring Diagrams, Instrument Schedules and Control Narratives
  • Regularly reviewing specifications to ensure units meet customer and international specification
  • Attending order launch and design review meetings with clients, suppliers and colleagues
  • Working on a wide variety of complex industrial machinery packages, including pumps, motors, turbines, gearboxes, control panels and variable speed drives


For the EC&I Engineer role, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess:

  • Formal qualifications within Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline (Degree, HNC, HND, City & Guilds/NVQ/BTEC Level 3 etc.)
  • Excellent IT skills with previous experience using AutoCAD and/or EPLAN software
  • IDEAL: Previous experience working on Industrial Rotating Equipment & Machinery


In return, the successful EC&I Engineer will receive:

  • Hourly Rates: PAYE: £50.00 / Umbrella PAYE: £66.15
  • Contract Length: 8 Months - likely to be extended

  • Holiday Entitlement: 33 days per annum (PAYE)
