Electrical Design Engineer
West Yorkshire
Initial 6-month contract (likelihood of extension)
Rates: £42.50p/h - £47.50p/h (Outside IR35)
Electrical / Control Systems / Medium - Heavy Engineering / AutoCAD Electrical
I am working with a key client based in West Yorkshire who require an experienced Electrical Design Engineer for an initial 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension.
As a skilled Electrical Design Engineer, you will require to conduct the following duties:
- Design of control systems using AutoCAD Electrical
- Working on mechanical handling equipment
- Conducting basic hand calculations
- Communicate with suppliers
- Work closely with the electrical engineers to ensure deadlines are met
- Occasional site visits where necessary
The successful Electrical Design Engineer will need to have the following attributes:
- Keen eye for detail within design and draughting
- Highly experienced user of AutoCAD Electrical
- Worked on complex control systems on relays, contactors and other electrical components within medium to heavy engineering
- Strong communication skills, working closely with electrical engineers
- 18th Edition Wiring Regs (preferable)
